How to enable or disable Kaspersky Security Network proxy in Kaspersky Security Center 10

The article concerns the following versions of Kaspersky Security Center 10:

  • Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0)
  • Service Pack 2 Maintenance Release 1 (version 10.4.343)
 
 
 
 

To enable or disable the use of Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) proxy server:

  1. Open Kaspersky Security Center 10.
  2. Open the Administration Server’s properties and go to KSN proxy serverKSN proxy server settings.
  3. Enable or disable KSN proxy server. Select the checkboxes Use Administration Server as proxy server and I agree to use Kaspersky Security Network. In the KSN Statement window that opens, read the statement and click I accept the terms of the KSN Statement.

If you clear the I agree to use Kaspersky Security Network checkbox, managed devices will not send patch installation results to Kaspersky Lab.

  1. Click OK.

If you leave Kaspersky Security Network enabled in the policy, all managed devices will try to connect to Kaspersky Security Network bypassing the Administration Server.
