How to configure password security checks in Kaspersky Security Cloud 19

Use Kaspersky Security Cloud to make sure that your passwords are secure. When you enter your password on a website, Kaspersky Security Cloud will check it and notify you if it is not secure.

If necessary, you can change the settings of password security check. To do so:

  1. In the main window of Kaspersky Security Cloud, click The Settings icon in the lower-left corner of Kaspersky Security Cloud 19 window.

  1. Go to the Additional section and select Password Security Check.

  1. Make sure that the option Show password strength in browser is selected.
  2. If you want Kaspersky Security Cloud warn you about using the same passwords on websites, select Warn about using the same passwords on websites
  3. To choose website categories for which you want to receive warnings if the same passwords are used, click Select website categories.

  1. Select categories of websites where Kaspersky Security Cloud will check your password.
